Here are some of the ongoing projects we work on...
Kavcast.com... a simple, easy online training system any business can use without needing a doctorate in education! Many "learning management systems" are overkill for day-to-day continuing education. Who really needs a 12-part, 5-hour training when introducing an anchovy-coated banana? With Kavacast... simple 3-4 minute videos are loaded up along with any materials you want to offer as downloads. Perfect for busy sales reps, service technicians, resellers and business partners. Actually, pretty much anybody you need to train to help your business.
HarryChapinRadio... OK, this is sort of nepotism. We're also on the Board of Directors for the Harry Chapin Foundation (a nonprofit that supports some of the most innovative grassroots groups that are tackling big issues like hunger and education). Anyway, the radio station is the brainchild of BnB associate Mike Grayeb whose proven that a little entertainment via an online radio station can help support a foundation that's working on some of society's toughest issues.
Green Field Farms... we're no longer involved with this, but still just as proud. We helped conceptualized the brand and created their go-to-market strategy that remains in place today, including their exclusive "Beyond Organic" certification. Green Field Farms is now a thriving co-op being managed by members of the Plain Clothes community (known to many of us as "Amish"). We're also stoked that we got to build their first website... a pretty radical idea for the Amish.
ResourceLink.org... no longer around (it was a demonstration project) but, again, immensely proud. ResourceLink created one of the first online communities linking together food manufacturers that had excess inventory so it was easier to donate the products to food banks around the country. We concepted the project for HP, drove development and industrywide commitment (and wide media exposure). And, it was honored with the Smithsonian Baldridge Award for Best Use of Technology in 2001.
